1st Class Driving Tuition - Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions of learning to drive with 1st Class Driving Tuition.    1.  The services of the instructor are for the sole purpose of giving the  Student driving tuition at the quoted price for the course or at the price  per lesson applicable at the time.  2.  The Student agrees that he/she is properly licensed to drive the  tuition vehicle.  3.  The Student agrees to pay for the course or lesson, which ever is  appropriate prior to the commencement of the tuition.  4.  The Student will give the instructor a minimum of two days notice of  cancellation of a lesson, failing which the Student will be liable to pay  for the full cost of the lesson booked.  5.  Should the Student fail to contact the instructor for a period of 3 weeks  without prior arrangement, the course will be deemed to have terminated.  6.  The Instructor will carry suitable motor insurance covering the Student  while driving under tuition by the Instructor and also when accompanied  by an Examiner for the purposes of the official Driving Test.  7.  The instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the tuition  vehicle for the official Driving Test if, in the opinion of the Instructor,  the Student has not reached the required standard.  8.  The Instructor will give no guarantee regarding the outcome of the  Student's attempts at the official Driving Test.  9.  The Instructor will abide by the Code of Conduct for Professional Driving  Instructors issued by the Driving Instructors Association. In the event  of any dispute the Instructor agrees to abide by arbitration by the DIA.
